Lavender Sparkle “Stick-On” Lips
—-
I applied a layer of pale lilac lipstick (D’Lilac) to the lips, and then used a flat shadow brush to press a lavender glitter all over the lips.
This is all nice and fun, but it’s probably not a good idea to go for dinner unless you want to swallow a lot of glitter. The lasting power, however, is really good, so if you need to make a statement for a few hours, this does not kiss off and requires pretty much no touch-up at all.
Tips for wearing glitter lips:
Pick a lipstick that is close to the shade of the glitter for best effect
Micro-glitter is easier to apply in an even layer and more comfortable to wear, but it will not be quite as dramatic and sparkly as larger flecks. The good news is that unlike the eye area, you can choose larger-sized art-store glitters for lips.
If you pick a pale color, do apply a little flesh colored lip primer or concealer around the edges of the lips so you get an even tone there
Good Colors to try:

Red on red
Pink on Pink
Black on Black
Aqua on Aqua
Of course, you can also do this easily with Violent Lips, but I’m not sure about paying that amount of money for 3 sheets of temporary lip tattoos. (What if I make a mistake???)
